journaling...101
Ok, so I'm great at posting pictures...but not so great at journaling! haha :) So here we go....
Most of you probably know that I'm going back to school for nursing. I know that I'm called to the nursing field--specifically working w/ the elderly...I just LOVED my job as a CNA (before I had Caleb) and knew that if I ever had a career, it would be nursing. I feel that it's extremely important for me to be home w/ Caleb & Carson while they're so little, raising them. I don't want someone else teaching them while they're so moldable and forming their views on life, etc...So that is why I'm taking my classes through SDSU online right now (as many as I can!) until I'm in the full-time nursing program, which I'll have to apply for way later down the road. Right now I'm taking 7 credits (3 classes--Algebra, Eng-Comp.101 and medical terminology)...The homework is definitely keeping me busy! (as if I wasn't busy already!!) But I've freed up my schedule of "extra cirricular" stuff and am not overly committed to anything else. I do miss being on the worship team and being a youth sponsor for our church, but I know I'll have my time for that again someday! This is just a season :) But I'm really enjoying this season of my life and am grateful for this opportunity to learn...I love learning! I figure that by the time I'm ready to apply for the full-time nursing program, Caleb will be in school full-time and Carson will be in pre-school probably or somewhere around that time...I'm just taking it one day at a time right now though!! :)
Caleb is in pre-school and LOVING it! His teacher is "Miss Kelly" and I hear a lot of "Miss Kelly says this, Miss Kelly says that"..haha! It's great. Caleb also went "hunting" w/ Nate recently and thought that was "VERY cool!!" They went w/ some a good friend of ours, Travis & his 2 boys, Zane and Tate. They had a blast!! I've been really noticing lately how sensitive Caleb is...he's such a neat kid...always keeping us laughing. He just told me the other day, "Mommy, I like to make people laugh!!" HA HA!! he is a character, that's for sure!!
Carson...oh, sweet Carson... :) He is just SOOOO sweet!!!!! That's all I can say! He can't look at you without touching your face and smiling. Precious....
He's walking all around now...wanting to run! He is so loving, it's awesome!! He really loves Caleb & wants to do everything Caleb does. It's really fun watching the boys interact and become buddies....It's priceless!!
Nate is doing his thing...being Nate :) He is loving fall & is ready for pheasant season opener this Saturday (Am I saying that right?! haha)...Between hunting and football, fall is definitely his favorite season too!!
That's an update on our family...We are very blessed :)
